Liver Detox Tincture
Milk Thistle, Oregon grape root, Dandelion root, Dandelion Leaf, Yellow Duck, Burdock Root, Blessed Thistle & turmeric- 60-70 drops daily in the morning and at night
The herbs in this formula help in the detoxification process of your liver and traditionally used to repair and regenerate it.
Milk thistle is very beneficial for the liver, both protecting and rejuvenating it. It helps with the reversal in symptoms of both acute and chronic liver problems, ranging from viral hepatitis to cirrhosis. Milk Thistle helps detoxify and rebuild the liver and is specific for gallbladder. It is extremely helpful for alcohol induced fatty liver disorders, chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis and much more.
Oregon grape root is an excellent blood purifier and a good source of berberine. It stimulates bile secretions, promotes liver function and also is a purifier of the blood, spleen and lymphatics. Oregon grape root is an excellent liver organ cleanser, with the ability to release stored iron into the bloodstream to help maintain a good supply of hemoglobin in the blood to maintain its healthy function and to maintain a healthy immune system.
Dandelion root supports liver health by promoting bile production, reducing inflammation, and protecting against oxidative stress, often acting as a "liver tonic" in traditional medicine. Studies indicate its compounds, such as taraxasterol and phenolic acids, help treat liver damage, reduce excess liver fat, and improve detoxification.
Turmeric, containing the active compound curcumin, supports liver health by reducing inflammation, fat accumulation, and potential fibrosis, particularly in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). It may lower liver enzymes (ALT and AST), acting as an antioxidant to protect against toxins and liver cell damage.
Fatty Liver Management: Studies suggest 500-1000 mg of curcumin daily can reduce liver fat, inflammation, and serum levels of liver enzymes, improving liver health.
Reduced Inflammation & Damage: Curcumin has potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that help protect against oxidative stress and liver injury from toxins, including alcohol-induced damage.
**However, high-dose supplements, especially with black pepper, can sometimes cause liver toxicity.
Dandelion leaves support liver health primarily through their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and diuretic properties. They help the body's natural detoxification processes, but most supporting evidence comes from preclinical (animal and lab) studies, and human clinical trials are needed to confirm the safety and efficacy for medical use.
Yellow dock root is a traditional, bitter herbal remedy that supports liver health by promoting bile production, aiding detoxification, and reducing inflammation. It acts as a "liver cleanser," helping to improve bile flow, which assists in fat digestion and waste removal from the body.
Blessed thistle is a bitter herb used to support liver health by aiding bile production, promoting detoxification, and offering protective, anti-inflammatory effects. It stimulates the digestive system, which aids in the elimination of toxins and, as a gentler alternative to milk thistle, helps maintain healthy liver enzymes.
